Institutional Advancement

Institutional Advancement is responsible for the development and implementation of CCBC’s annual and long-range operational, marketing and communications, strategic and resource development plans. These efforts manage and promote alumni, individual, public and organizational philanthropy, as well as institutional branding and communications.

Advancement Services and Donor Relations

This department’s mission is to provide information infrastructure and services to support the CCBC’s advancement activities. This includes gift management and acknowledgement, maintaining mailing lists and donor records, donor recognition events, and organizing United Way and Employee Giving campaigns. Alumni Relations

The Alumni Relations Office provides meaningful engagement opportunities for all CCBC alumni to connect with each other and support the growth and development of the college and its Alumni Association. Alumni Relations creates pathways for alumni participation, raises funds to support organizational initiatives, and partners with campus and community organizations to promote the personal, educational and professional development of alumni and students of the college.

CCBC Foundation

The Community College of Baltimore County Foundation, Inc. is an affiliated 501(c) (3) nonprofit corporation established in 2005 to provide external funding support for CCBC. Under the leadership of its board of directors, the Foundation seeks contributions from alumni, local businesses, corporations, employees, foundations and individuals to support student scholarships, cultural and curriculum development, facilities and equipment needs and other programs and activities that benefit the college.

College Communications

College Communications produces print and electronic messages and publications that advance CCBC’s vision, mission and values. From strategic planning through creative development and multi-media distribution, this department promotes CCBC, its offerings and services with clarity, consistency and impact.

Community Relations

CCBC's Community Relations Office is committed to creating long-term relationships and mutually beneficial partnerships with students, local communities, county and state government, businesses, public and private schools and civic organizations. The emphasis on workforce development – both in credit and Continuing Education programs – makes CCBC a prime training resource for future employees in the Baltimore region.

Corporate and Foundation Relations

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations aims to match the interests of corporations and private foundations with the academic and programmatic needs and assets of CCBC. Their mission is to provide expert guidance in developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships between organizations and CCBC.

Office of Grants Development

This vital college resource assists faculty and staff in securing grant funds that will provide new learning opportunities for students and will assist them in being more successful academically. View more information »
