Sep 10, 2019

CCBC has recently earned a designation as a National Center of Digital Forensics Academic Excellence (CDFAE) by the Defense Cyber Crime Center.

The CDFAE program offers designations to accredited academic programs that offer digital forensics-related degrees. In order to receive the CDFAE designation, an institution's accredited academic program courses must map with common core Defense Cyber Investigation Training Academy curriculum. The main goal of this partnership with academia is to increase the number of qualified digital forensics professionals.

CCBC students completing AAS in Digital Forensics degree will receive “Digital Media Collector" and “Digital Forensic Examiner" certificates from the DCITA.

CCBC students will be qualified in Digital Forensic areas and will be eligible to secure employment in federal agencies, private industries and other organizations.
