CCBC Dance Company presents Spring 2022 Dance Concert

CCBC Dance Company’s Spring 2022 Dance Concert will be held April 28 - 30 in the F. Scott Black Theatre, CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard.
This year’s in-person performance will feature new works by CCBC faculty and students along with the restaging of two historic works. The concert will be presented in memory of Carole Drake Cascio, the founder of the dance program at CCBC Essex and the original director of Dimensional Dance Media. The dancers will restage her work Black Dust, which premiered in 1978. Following the April 30 concert, a reception will be held to celebrate the life of Cascio. RSVP for the reception at tinyurl.com/caroledrakecascio.The Company will also present the restaged work Chaconne, originally choreographed by José Limón and restaged by Natalie Desch for this performance. The work is being performed as part of the José Limón Dance Foundation’s 75th Anniversary Celebration.

April 29 & 30 at 7 p.m.
General admission: $10; Seniors, students, CCBC faculty/staff/alumni: $5; Free for CCBC students with current ID. Effective March 28, 2022, audience masks are optional but recommended at performances.
