CCBC to celebrate Class of 2022 with June 4 in-person Commencement ceremony

CCBC is excited to bring back its in-person Commencement ceremony to celebrate the graduating class of 2022. Scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 4, the Commencement ceremony returns to the lawn at CCBC Essex under the outdoor tent.With COVID safety precautions in mind, CCBC is limiting graduating students to two guests for the ceremony. Graduates and guests are also required to wear masks. Prioritizing the health and safety of all campus visitors, plans could change to include greater or fewer invited guests and changes to mask requirements, based on COVID positivity rates.
Seating will be available under the tent as well as in overflow areas located in the CCBC Essex Wellness and Athletic Center’s gym and the F. Scott Black Theatre, where the ceremony will be live-streamed. A link to the live-streamed ceremony will also be available on CCBC’s website, by June 4, for public viewing.
Prior to the Commencement ceremony, graduates are encouraged to attend GradFest, starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14 at CCBC Essex for a day of food, photos and fun. Joined by CCBC alumni, it will be a great day to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2022.
