Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre presents Disney’s High School Musical at CCBC Essex, July 8 – 17

The Court Jesters Young People’s Theatre takes the stage at Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, in residence at CCBC Essex, to perform Disney’s High School Musical, July 8 - 17. All performances will be held in the Lecture Hall at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard.

Disney’s High School Musical features Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High as they deal with issues of first love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities. Disney’s High School Musical is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International. All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI (

July 16 at 4:30 p.m.

Liz Boyer Hunnicutt will direct the Court Jesters cast of actors. Cockpit in Court, founded in 1973 by F. Scott Black, is celebrating its 50th anniversary season in 2022. Originally an outlet for local summer theatre, Cockpit grew to a full-fledged community theatre, attracting performers and audiences from all around Maryland and beyond.
