CCBC Dance Company presents Spring 2023 Dance Concert May 4 - 6 at CCBC Essex

Community College of Baltimore County Performing Arts presents the CCBC Dance Company’s Spring 2023 Dance Concert May 4 – 6. Performances will be held in the F. Scott Black Theatre, CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard.

The CCBC Dance Company Spring 2023 Dance Concert explores new and restaged works. The concert features guest artist Nathaniel Hunt, who created a piece for the Company during his residency in January, and the Maryland All State Honors Ensemble, who will perform a work by guest artist in residence, Peter Pucci. The concert will also include new works by CCBC faculty.

The CCBC Dance Company is in residence at CCBC Essex under the artistic direction of Melinda Blomquist and Associate Director Kristi Schaffner. The CCBC Dance Company is known for holding main-stage performances in the fall and spring featuring choreography by CCBC faculty and various guest artists. The Company is also involved in community outreach with local schools providing special performances as well as master classes and lecture/demonstrations. 

Performance times include:

• 11:10 a.m. Thursday, May 4
• 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 5 and 6

Tickets are $10 general admission; $5 seniors, students, CCBC faculty and staff; and free for CCBC students with current ID. Tickets can be purchased at the CCBC Box Office at 443-840-ARTS (2787), online at ccbctickets.com or at the door one hour prior to the performances.
