Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre presents The Prom July 21 – August 6 at CCBC Essex

Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, in residence at CCBC Essex, will perform The Prom July 21 – August 6. All performances will be held at the Robert and Eleanor Romadka College Center, F. Scott Black Theatre at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard.

Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. When they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue – and themselves. Winner of the Drama Desk Award for Best Musical, The Prom expertly captures all the humor and heart of a classic musical comedy with a message that resonates with audiences now more than ever.

The Prom – book and lyrics by Chad Beguelin, book by Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar, based on an original concept by Jack Viertel – is presented through special arrangement with, and all authorized performance materials are supplied by Theatrical Rights Worldwide, 1180 Avenue of the Americas, Suite 640, New York, NY 10036.

The Prom performance schedule:
July 21, 22, 28, 29 at 8 p.m.
July 23, 30 at 3 p.m.
August 4, 5 at 8 p.m.
August 6 at 3 p.m.
