Irina Koyfman, DNP, NP-C, RN
Dr. Koyfman is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association. Her licenses and certifications include Adult Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Dementia Care Specialist and Certified Emotional Intelligence Level II.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Villa Julie College, her Master of Science, Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Maryland, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice, Executive from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.
Dr. Koyfman serves on the boards of directors of the Life and Breath Foundation, the Coordinating Center, and the International Society for Emotional Intelligence. She is a Chair of community advisory board of the Johns Hopkins PLAN project (a multi-site study on dementia diagnosis), and an educator for the Alzheimer’s Association. She also performs volunteer service for Meals on Wheels.
