Join us in celebration of Black History Month with the Black Leadership Advocacy Caucus (BLAC) and the Community Book Connection (CBC) and the Black Student Union. We are commemorating the 100th Year Anniversary of Negro History Week and the 50th Year Anniversary of Black History Month. This event connects to the concepts of Black resilience, combating racial oppression and celebrating Black excellence in The Secret Life of Bees. There will be a meet and greet where Black history will be celebrated with food, reflections and songs.
