The Meaning and Mystery of the "Blue Moon"

The term "Blue Moon" goes back for centuries, and even into antiquity in some areas. Today, it's even the name of a song and an alcoholic beverage.

Where did the term come from? What does it mean to say "Once in a blue moon?"

Come find out all of these things and more and why this month of May is "special."

Outside observing will be done afterwards, weather permitting.
