Cockpit in Court presents Damn Yankees

June 13-29 at CCBC Essex

Baltimore County, Md. (May 19, 2025) – Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, in residence at CCBC Essex, will perform "Damn Yankees," June 13-29 at the Robert and Eleanor Romadka College Center, F. Scott Black Theatre at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Blvd. Based on the novel “The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant,” by Douglass Wallop, the production’s words and music are by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross and the book by George Abbott and Douglass Wallop.

Selling your soul to the Devil to beat the Yankees? Bold move. Joe Boyd does just that—and becomes the young, hotshot slugger Joe Hardy. He turns the Washington Senators into champs but soon finds out winning isn’t everything. "Damn Yankees" serves up laughs, love and a little devilish fun along the way.

"Damn Yankees" is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. 423 West 55th Street, New York, NY 10019 Phone: 212-541-4684 | Fax: 212-397-4684 www.mtishows.com

Directed by Jason Crawford, Damn Yankees’ musical director is Charlotte Evans. The stage manager is Andrew Pfluger and Katie Noppinger is the choreographer.
