Physician Assistant Tuition & Fees

CCBC’s physician assistant program is expensive to operate, so it has a slightly higher tuition rate. Because it is also a designated Health Workforce Shortage program, Baltimore County and Maryland residents are charged this special rate $178 per billable hour. For most physician assistant students taking a full credit course load, the annual cost of tuition and fees is approximately 5,382. Tuition assistance is available for most physician assistant students.

This collaborative program of CCBC and Towson University is designed for students who hold a bachelor's degree or higher prior to admission and prepares individuals with strong academic science backgrounds and clinical experiences for careers as Physician Assistants. Tuition and fees for 200 level courses are paid to CCBC. Tuition and fees for 600, 700 and 800 level courses are paid to Towson University. Applicants will pay appropriate application fees to both institutions. Individuals who successfully complete the program are eligible for certification by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.

Physician assistant program students residing in York County, Pennsylvania will be charged $338 per billable hour. Out-of-state students are typically charged $521 per billable hour to participate in this program. Physician assistant students do not qualify for out-of-state online tuition rates.
