About University of Maryland Global Campus

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) was founded more than 70 years ago to serve working adults and service members. They are an online state university that offers online academic programs in fast-growing and in-demand fields. With no-cost digital course materials in nearly every course, and locations in Maryland and at military installations around the world, they provide students the opportunity to earn a respected degree from just about anywhere life takes them.

UMGC offers over 90 degrees, certificates and specializations designed to equip you with real-world skills. UMGC courses are designed from the ground up to be collaborative online learning experiences that prepare you for today's digital business environment. Plus, they have replaced nearly every textbook with no-cost digital course materials to allow you to study from anywhere and to help keep your education costs down. Your accomplishments and experience matter more than test scores. Their streamlined admissions process doesn't require the SAT or GRE, and they offer multiple start dates throughout the year, so you can get started whenever you're ready. Plus, you can earn credit for what you already know through the prior learning program.
