BCPS Tuition Benefit Program

Tuition benefit program for BCPS College and Career Ready students.

Start college while you're still in high school, with significant savings!

This innovative partnership between Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) and the Community College of Baltimore County offers a 50% tuition reduction for all BCPS students enrolled in college courses. Furthermore, students who qualify as College and Career Ready (CCR) will not be billed for tuition, fees, or books.

No tuition or book costs for CCR students. Half the tuition for all other BCPS students. Just cover your supplies, and we'll take care of the rest!

This program is for College and Career Ready (CCR) students. CCR status is determined by BCPS.

Cost

All BCPS students are eligible for a 50% tuition reduction. College and Career Ready (CCR) students will not be billed for tuition, fees, or books.

Choosing your courses

Talk with your high school counselor to see which courses work best for your goals.

Dual credit courses

Choose from a selection of CCBC courses that qualify for both high school and college credit.

Other credit courses

You're eligible to take any CCBC credit course, as long as you meet the prerequisites. These courses will only count as college credit.

Continuing education courses

Choose from a selection of non-credit courses that lead to a certificate or credential.


Next steps

Whether you want to earn credits toward a degree or want to earn a workforce certificate, here's how to get started:

  • Apply to CCBC. When prompted to select an application type, choose option A: "Dual Enrollment/Attending While in High School." When prompted, select "Personal Enrichment" as your major.
  • Once you've applied, complete the Early College Access consent form, where you will be prompted to upload additional documents. 
  • Register for classes.
