This class entails a review of all courses encompassed within the Medical Assistant program. Topics to be covered include: medical terminology, HIPAA, anatomy and physiology, administrative procedures, medical law and ethics, communication skills, pharmacology, medicine administration, basic patient intake, intermediate patient intake, laboratory techniques, phlebotomy, electrocardiogram procedure. This course will help to prepare the student to successfully pass the national certification exam.
