Observe trained professionals and apply skills and knowledge acquired in the classroom to a real-world setting. A preceptor assigned by the facility will provide daily supervision and evaluate your knowledge and skills. Topics include community health worker core competency areas. Successful completion of this course will prepare the student for certification as a Community Health Worker (CHW) in the state of Maryland.
