Welding B (APP 947)

Continuing Education Course

This course is designed to enable the apprentice to learn how to properly burn and weld different sized pipe. This follows Welding A, using different electrodes and in different positions. This is the second course in a four-course sequence to prepare the student to pass the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) welding test. Topics to be covered include measuring pipe, cutting pipe to given dimensions, welding pipe, using layout tools, and safety.
