Introduces contemporary black and white still photography; emphasizes basic film camera skills and darkroom techniques as foundation necessary for advanced study in photography. Students are required to supply a 35mm film camera with adjustable aperture and shutter speeds. 2 lecture hours and 3 laboratory hours per week. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): Students must have a working 35mm camera with manual functions and the option to interchange lenses.
Lab Fee: $60.00.
