Astronomy

ASTM 101

Presents observations and theories regarding the place of Earth in the universe. Students investigate other planets, stars from their formation in nebulae to their deaths as white dwarfs, neutron stars or black holes, galaxies and the expanding universe. For students needing a lab, ASTM 102 serves as the accompanying lab.  Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

  • Prerequisite(s) : ESOL 052 and ESOL 054 or ACLT 052 or ACLT 053; and MATH 082
