Intermediate Spanish - Part I (FLA 213)

This continuation of Advanced Beginning Spanish offers a background experience to starting Intermediate Spanish (Part 2). Emphasis is on verbal ability and understanding basic structures. Before taking this course, new students should be able to use the present, past (preterit & imperfect) and future tenses of regular, stem-changing, reflexive and irregular verbs. The concept of the subjunctive and the use of the present of the subjunctive are introduced. Instructor: Thu Schaeffer.
