Lights! Camera! Action! It's the History of Hollywood. In this course, students will learn about the history of Hollywood, the people that built it up, and the moguls that developed it into what it is today. Explore how the first studios were created and the eventual decline of the studio system. Discuss the House Un-American Activities Committee's investigation of studio heads, actors, actresses and writers. Evaluate the role of the film industry during World War II, and more.
