This course is designed for current and aspiring supervisors. The student will examine the laws and procedures that apply to anyone fulfilling the role of supervisor. Topics to be covered include situations of liability due to negligent supervising, liability due to chain of command, liabilty due to lack of proper discipline of subordinates, the power of a supervisor's signature, when to seek legal counsel, and what should be confidential.
