Music and Movement for Coordination and Stress Management of the DDA Adult (PDV 127)

Continuing Education Course

This course is designed to enable the student to learn how to use music, and movement to music, for coordination, balance, flexibility, body-awareness, self-expression/expression of emotion, and stress management. Topics to be covered include choosing and using appropriate music for stress reduction, choosing using appropriate music for different types of movement, basic movements to music that can increase coordination, balance and flexibility, and using movement and music to express emotions and thoughts.
