Is a lab course that provides students the opportunity to demonstrate their competence with the basic science of surgical technology discussed in Surgical Technology Core Concepts. Students are required to successfully complete the technical skills that are necessary for clinical practice as a surgical technologist. Course offered once a year (fall or spring).

Prerequisite(s): SRTC 102, SRTC 103 and SRTC 104. Corequisite(s): SRTC 201 and SRTC 203.
