Introduces the functioning of the digestive system and the nutritional needs of each class of animals across the life span. Students focus on the commonly used feeds within the United States. Ration balancing techniques are covered. Course offered once a year (fall or spring) and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): Permission of the Program Coordinator.
