Develops cross-cultural communication and global citizenship through the acquisition of reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in French at a mid-novice level. Provides connections to other disciplines and cultures through the study of French and develops an awareness of the cultural contributions and socio-political contexts of diverse groups throughout the French-speaking world. Communicative competence at a mid-novice level is emphasized, and learning is supported by instructional technology. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): WLFR 101 or by permission of instructor.
