Program options

Prepare for degree or transfer

If you’re pursuing a degree or plan to transfer, we offer an Associate of Applied Science (AAS). You can also earn a credit certificate as a shorter credential along the way. Both prepare you for the workforce or transfer to a four-year college.

Train for an entry-level academy

If you’re enrolled in an entry-level law enforcement or corrections academy which partners with CCBC, we offer two 12-credit certificates designed for recruits. These programs are for academy participants only.

Courses

Our criminal justice courses cover a vast range of special topics including private investigation, social justice, narcotics and dangerous substances, criminal justice technology and more. Check out our course schedule to see upcoming opportunities.

Job outlook

Our programs will prepare you for careers in law enforcement, private security, corrections, juvenile services and more.

Employment in the criminal justice field is expected to grow about as fast as average (3%) for all occupations through 2034 according to the Occupational Outlook Handbook. At the local and state levels, growth is likely to continue well into the future.
