Associate Degree in Communication and Media Studies

The ability to communicate clearly is a skill that is valuable in any career path. Our Communication and Media Studies program focuses on interpersonal, intercultural and small group communication, as well as offering a variety of mass media courses for careers in journalism, public relations, film studies and social media marketing. This degree is designed to help students transfer to a four-year college or university.

The best part about the digital media program is that you have a voice and you get the opportunity to have that voice heard.

Sigma Chi Eta

Sigma Chi Eta (SCH) is the official community college honor society of the National Communication Association. Since 2000, SCH has fostered growth in the communication discipline among two-year colleges and universities by recognizing students for academic achievement, stimulating interest in the field of Communication, promoting professional development among Communication majors and more.CCBC's chapter of Sigma Chi Eta is Alpha Pi.
