Build inspiration into each day

The Dance Department within the Performing Arts programs at the Community College of Baltimore County offers a rich blend of technique, creative exploration and academic coursework for aspiring dancers, enthusiasts and lifelong learners.

Whether you're pursuing dance as a major or for personal enrichment, CCBC offers:

  • Technique and appreciation classes in a variety of styles
  • Workshops and masterclasses with professional artists
  • Performance opportunities through the CCBC Dance Company
  • Degree-path coursework as well as classes for fun

The program is led by working dance professionals who bring their expertise and passion into the classroom. Students are encouraged to express themselves artistically, explore multiple dance forms, and engage in the creative process from the start.
