Political Science Internships

CCBC provides academic credit for knowledge and skills learned on the job in the areas of politics and government.

The student is familiarized with the practical workings of government institutions. The student keeps a journal of their experiences to demonstrate their understanding of the experience. This requires a 90 work hour commitment. Students work with the Internship Coordinator, who monitors student’s progress.

Students intern in the offices of elected officials or organizations that work with governmental organizations. An integral part of the Political Science curriculum is the opportunity for students to participate in an internship.
