Papers. Exams. Late nights. You've preserved through it all - and now it's time to celebrate at the 2025 Commencement! You've earned it, and we couldn't be more proud of your accomplishment. As always, admissions is free! However, seating is limited so we recommend bringing no more than six guests.
Note: students are required to fill out a commencement participation form before this year's ceremony. Please RSVP by May 21, 2025.
All you need to know before the big day!
All students are required to wear proper regalia. Please complete the commencement participation form before pickup.
This is a special occasion! Dress nice but keep an eye on weather to dress accordingly. We usually recommend wearing light, breathable fabrics and shoes with low or no heel since you’ll be walking through grassy areas and taking stairs to walk onstage.
Each year, we gather on the CCBC Essex campus beneath the graduation tent to celebrate student achievement! Please read our parking and transportation regulations before arriving to campus.
If you or a guest require disability accommodations or support, our Student Accessibility Services (SAS) team members will be there to assist. Contact us in advance so that we can ensure you have everything you need.
Be recognized for achieving beyond expectations!
Each year, we select a student who has shown exemplary leadership and service to earn the President’s Distinguished Graduate Award. The recipient receives a $2,500 transfer scholarship and delivers the commencement address.
Please note: we are no longer accepting submissions for the 2025 President's Distinguished Graduate application.
