Follow copyright law when creating and posting content on the college website.CCBC adheres to U.S. copyright law. Within U.S. law, the doctrine of fair use permits the reproduction of material under certain circumstances, including criticism, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Refrain from publishing copyrighted material that does not fall within the bounds of fair use.
If you must use copyrighted material on the CCBC website, you must have the written permission of the copyright owner and the original copyright statement must be included with the reproduction along with any other attribution that the owner requests. You should keep your copy of the written permission and provide a copy to the Web Content Managers.

This includes all text, images, audio, video, etc. CCBC faculty, staff and students may reproduce content, provided it is for educational or non-commercial purposes. Users who download, print, and republish content found on this site must not violate the rights of the college.
