Founded in 1974 at the CCBC Dundalk campus, Dundalk Community Theatre (DCT) offers excellent, large-scale musicals, comedies and dramas in our 388-seat John E. Ravekes Theatre located in the Lloyd College Center. More than 5,000 audience members visit us annually. Hundreds of area artists, performers, directors and musicians offer their talents on stage and behind the scenes.

DCT is seeking a director for our upcoming production of Come From Away. We're looking for an enthusiastic theatre artist to guide the production from rehearsal to performance while working with an exceptional cast and production team. Come from Away is based on the true story of the time when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland, played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town turned into an international sleepover, when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from around the globe, were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family.
