CCBC's Global Education office designs programs to help students develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed on a global scale. Students can participate in global learning opportunities and study abroad programs to gain the practical experiences they need to create global networks.
Our global learning opportunities include courses and programs that incorporate international content, cross-cultural perspectives and communication, and critical thinking about global issues with local impacts.

If you plan to apply to one of the scholarships below, first bring your ideas and drafts to a Global Education advisor for help and feedback. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for several of these scholarships.
Studying a language abroad – either via direct enrollment in a foreign university or at a private language school – is often an economical, highly flexible way to study abroad, with many options for start dates, durations of stay, scholarships and paths to academic credit.
Working abroad allows you to build your skills, experience, resume and knowledge of the world while earning money to fund expenses. Open to nearly all fields, these programs can be particularly good for students with skills in a trade, who can often secure work readily.

Studying abroad was not something Attia Robinson thought to consider until she approached a Global Education information table. "They asked me, 'do you want to study abroad? We'll help you do it.'" And before she knew it, Attia was on a flight to Australia!
