Our mission is your success.

Trio Student Support Services (SSS) offers a powerful support network that combines academic, financial and personal support into one program. Trio SSS is designed for first generation college students, income-eligible students and students with disabilities. Our mission is to surround you with the guidance, encouragement and opportunities you need to thrive in college, graduate and transfer successfully.

Please note: Trio SSS is available at CCBC Essex and CCBC Catonsville.

Eligibility

Eligible CCBC students must be US citizens or permanent residents and meet at least one of the following three guidelines:

  • Be a first-generation college student: neither parent has a bachelor's degree.
  • Be income-eligible: eligible for a Pell Grant or 150% of federal government poverty level. 
  • Have a documented disability: documented physical, emotional or learning disability on file with Student Accessibility Services.
