Food and Essential Resources

Strengthening our commitment to care by removing everyday barriers to essential items.

An Office of Student Engagement staff member exits the student pantry holding a handful of snacks.

Food or education? Students deserve both.

Food insecurity is a rising problem across college campus that no student should  have to face. CCBC’s student pantries and food lockers offer reliable access to meals, snacks and essentials, providing the nourishment our students need to stay focused. Discreet, convenient and free, these resources ease their worries and fuel their studies.

Student Food Pantry

We believe that everyone deserves access to the basic, daily necessities that keep us healthy, sustained and energized. During the week, students can head over to the Office of Student Engagement during regular business hours to visit a student pantry.

The pantry provides non-perishable food, personal hygiene items and even school supplies. Students can grab up to five items per visit, turning a quick pick up into a steady support.

The pantry has been a great resource for me and my peers at CCBC. Utilizing the pantry has been beneficial as I use it as a quick meal between classes or when I don't have the funds to grab a meal.

Student Food Lockers

Hunger doesn't keep business hours. Our food lockers are here to support students who are unable to make it to a student pantry in time. They provide the same kind of supports, but with added flexibility, customization and privacy. A quick sign-up reserves a bag of food and supplies that's ready to pick up from a secure locker whenever the campus is open - day or night.
