The CCBC Alumni Association

is proud to honor
Beverly Vinzant

CCBC Alumni Association's Distinguished Alumna of 2014; Beverly Vinzant.

Beverly has served as a tireless advocate for CCBC, serving on countless committees and as a member of the Catonsville Foundation Board. Beverly also served as the Chair of the New Beginnings Campaign to assist CCBC in raising $800,000 toward the Catonsville mansion renovation for a new Center for Global Education. She also served as the sole volunteer on a committee to develop a mechanism to engage more female CCBC donors, the Women in Philanthropy Initiative. In addition to her generous contribution of time and resources to CCBC, Beverly has also worked with the American Heart Association to develop their first telethon and served as the Chapter President and as a National Board Member for the Women’s Transportation Seminar.

Beverly attended CCBC in the 1970’s for an Associates degree and completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Baltimore in 1983. Beverly exemplifies the CCBC student population in many ways. She worked hard as a single parent to complete her degrees while raising her family. Beverly has used the tools she learned at CCBC to start her own business and to give back to her community.
