Holiday Lights

More than one hundred and fifty community residents, CCBC faculty, staff, alumni and friends kick off the holiday season each December at the CCBC Holiday Lights event at the Hilton Center on the Catonsville campus. At the event, children of all ages are able to decorate holiday ornaments, create ginger bread houses, have their face painted, listen to holiday carols and give their wish list to Santa’s and Mrs. Claus. The Highlight of the event is the illumination of the historic Hilton Mansion.

Gala

Each year CCBC invites the community to partake in an exciting evening that provides support for CCBC student scholarships and programs. Over eight years, The CCBC galas have raised over $1.8 million for scholarship and program support. Other opportunities for sponsorship and marketing are available to all of our corporate and business partners for such diverse initiatives as lectures, performance series, and community outreach initiatives.

Donor Scholarship Luncheon

Held annually in March, donors and scholarship recipients gather for the annual Donor Scholarship Luncheon at Martin’s East. The Luncheon gives students and donors an opportunity to meet face-to-face and celebrate student’s successes as recipients share stories of how the scholarships have benefited them and others in their family. The stories are often powerful enough to move many to tears as they learn how CCBC students overcome obstacles to achieve their academic goals and create new beginnings.
