Damon Krometis, MFA

Director, Theatre Faculty

Damon Krometis is a theatre teacher, director, and scholar based in Washington, DC. Before joining CCBC, he was an adjunct faculty member at Emerson College, Northwestern University, and Roxbury Community College.

As a director, his work has been seen in New York, Chicago, Baltimore, DC, Boston, and London. Damon specializes in immersive and interactive theatre.

His scholarship focuses on how spectatorship participation in the theatre can critique societal power structures, and has been published in Theatre Topics, the Journal of Dramatic Theory & Criticism, and HowlRound. He has also created numerous works on inclusive teaching.
