Institutional accreditation

The Community College of Baltimore County is proud of its Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) institutional accreditation. As a MSCHE member institution, CCBC must meet rigorous and comprehensive standards within the context of its mission. With a continued commitment to the institutional values of ethics and integrity, the college has achieved national recognition as a progressive leader in providing accessible, affordable, high-quality education, workforce training, and life enrichment opportunities.

Middle States 2022: Rethink. Reenvision. Reaffirm. »
Middle States institutional accreditation is an essential component for CCBC to offer student financial aid and to provide student resources and services. Transfer of credits to other colleges is also enhanced by institutional accreditation. CCBC is preparing for its next in-depth evaluation, review, and reaffirmation of accreditation by MSCHE in 2022.
