Mars at Opposition

Friday, November 18, 8:00 PM-9:00 PM | Catonsville campus

Mathematics & Science Hall (MASH) | Room 030

The planet Mars will be at its closest approach to Earth in two years on December 8, but it is also visible in the night sky right now. Come learn some things about the Red Planet, including some popular misconceptions, and we’ll see if we can see it through telescopes afterwards. This show is suitable for adults and children over the age of 8.
