Reading the Rainbow: Protecting Freedom & Access to LGBTQ+ Content
Join us for a presentation on banned books and how to protect our access to LGBTQ+ content. Librarians, Jean Boggs and Leeann Carpenter, will discuss the history of modern censorship, a historical survey of specific banned media, and current titles reflecting the LBGTQ+ community that are currently being challenged or banned in the United States. This event is co-sponsored by CLASI, the Committee for LGBTQ+ Advocacy, Support, and Inclusion.
