BCPS Tuition Free Program
BCPS Tuition Free Program is an early college access program for eligible BCPS sophomores, juniors and seniors offered by the Community College of Baltimore County and the Baltimore County Public Schools.What’s in it for me?
- Take up to 4 classes tuition free; pay only applicable fees, books and supplies.
- Get a jump start on your college education while saving money and time.
- Be better prepared for college academics and college life.
- Earn credits toward your CCBC associate's degree, a non-credit certificate or credential, or transfer to another college of your choice.
What are the eligibility requirements?
- Overall 2.50 grade point average.
- Enrollment in credit-bearing CCBC General Education, Career Pathway, or non-credit courses that lead to a certificate or credential during the fall and spring semesters only.
- Demonstrated mature behavior.
What are the costs?
- CCBC required fees, books and supplies.
- Students eligible for free and reduced-price meals do not pay CCBC fees.
How do I apply?
- Complete the CCBC application of admission.
- Download and submit the Early College Access Consent Form to the CCBC Admissions Office.
- Meet with a CCBC Admissions Counselor to discuss assessment and placement testing.
- Register for credit-bearing or non-credit courses.
