Supporting Performing Arts at CCBC

Profile picture of Robert and Eleanor RomadkaRobert and Eleanor Romadka, a major philanthropic force in the Essex/Middle River community has pledged a $150,000 challenge gift to raise support for the Performing Arts at CCBC.

Their gift will launch a Performing Arts Endowment that will provide programmatic and scholarship support to enrich the lives of members of our community through the arts. As part of their contribution, the Romadka' s wanted to honor the legacy of their friend, colleague and educator F. Scott Black, former dean of the School of Liberal Arts at CCBC by naming the CCBC Essex Theatre The F. Scott Black Theatre.

Students, alumni, faculty and staff are extremely grateful for the Romadka’ s generosity. Their leadership gift will match contributions dollar-for-dollar up to $150,000. Their investment is crucial to the development of the arts in our community.
