What is a transfer agreement?

Many of the programs within the School of Applied and Information Technology (SAIT) are designed to help a student find employment upon completion of the Associate’s degree. However, in many areas a Bachelor’s degree may still be necessary. With that in mind, the staff at SAIT has worked closely with many area four-year colleges and universities to “map out” transfer agreements for many of the programs. These agreements are designed to help students identify a course of study while at CCBC and outline those courses necessary to complete a Bachelor’s degree at the four-year college.

The following is a sample list of colleges where transfer agreements have been developed: American Public University, Capital College, Morgan State University, Towson University, University of Baltimore, University of Maryland, Baltimore County, University of Maryland, University College, and Villa Julie College For more information on transfer agreements related to your program of study you may contact your program coordinator or review a list of colleges and transfer agreements at (http://www.ccbcmd.edu/agreements/collegesearch.html).
