Is this your first time earning a degree? Looking for ways to make semester costs manageable? Your future deserves certainty, and that's where THRIVE at CCBC can make a difference. As a part of THRIVE, you'll receive financial help, connect with other students, attend workshops tailored to your needs and make a meaningful partnership with a dedicated Success Coach. The THRIVE at CCBC team is excited to support every step of your journey.

Community: events and workshops 

From community events to weekly workshops, you'll have plenty of opportunities to connect with your peers, develop your professional skills and explore future careers.

Coaching: entry to graduation 

We take your academic and professional success seriously, which is why you'll be assigned a dedicated THRIVE Success Coach to help guide you through the semester.

Registration: priority and partnership 

Not only will you have access to early course registration, but you'll be able to register for courses specifically blocked for you and your THRIVE peers.

If you:

  • would like extra financial assistance to attend college
  • live in Maryland
  • plan to take classes at CCBC in the Fall 2026 semester
  • plan to enroll full-time
  • have no more than 30 college credits.

Join us! The first step to becoming a THRIVE at CCBC student is to request more information.

All THRIVE at CCBC students are expected to: 

  • Enroll full time: commit to full-time study each fall and spring semester, with winter and summer enrollment encouraged as needed.
  • Meet with a Success Coach: meet with an assigned Success Coach at least once a month.
  • Meet with a Career Coach: meet with a Career Coach once a semester.
  • Stay on track: with the support of these coaches, you must complete your degree within three years (Fall 2026 - Summer 2029).
  • Attend workshops: participate in tailored workshops with other THRIVE students at least once a month.
  • Complete onboarding: attend orientation and complete the THRIVE at CCBC agreement form.

THRIVE at CCBC
