Intermediate French - Part I (FLA 211)

Build on skills acquired in Basic French (Parts 1-5) and gain a background experience to starting intermediate French (Part 2). Emphasis continues on improving verbal ability and understanding basic structures. Before taking this course, new students should be able to comfortably use the present, past (l'imparfait and le pass compos) and future tenses of regular and irregular verbs. The use of the present tense of the subjunctive will be introduced.
