This course is designed for the student without AutoCAD experience. The student will be introduced to AutoCAD two-dimensional drawing, symbol creation, and dimensioning techniques. Topics include basic computer command skills, creating and editing CAD drawings in model space, display manipulation, and prototype drawings. Course Objectives:1. retrieve, save, and manipulate CAD files using basic commands;2. create and edit two-dimensional engineering drawings using model space; and3. identify, set, and control basic system variables.
