The Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) course series prepares you for an entry-level position in the maintenance of apartment buildings or similar facilities. You'll learn about the apartment business, interior and exterior maintenance, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, and plumbing. Hands-on training is available in intensive daytime sessions or part-time in the evenings. When you complete the program, you'll be eligible for a provisional certificate from the National Apartment Association Education Institute.

The design or construction of a project almost always involves using a CAD system. These computer-aided design applications include architecture, civil engineering, and manufacturing and can be either 2 or 3 dimensional in scope. Classes are held at our Autodesk® Authorized Training Center and are usually structured into an intensive, one-week schedule.

As an HVACR technician, you will work in the installation, repair and maintenance of all kinds of refrigeration, air conditioning and heating systems including oil burners, hot-air furnaces and heating stoves. Our thoroughly equipped HVACR laboratories support degree programs as well as workforce certificate programs.

Today's leading manufacturers use computer-driven equipment. Lean methods and environmentally sustainable practices allow manufacturers to compete internationally. Automation requires high skill levels.
Your future job could be at a machine shop, or at equipment and parts manufacturers such as aerospace and automotive facilities. Industries using production machinery include pharmaceutical, food / beverage, and medical instruments.
CCBC also offers a wide array of courses for Industrial Maintenance training ranging from basic skills to more advanced training in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation.

With regulations continually being revised, Occupational Safety and Health courses help expand worker and employer recognition and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace and ensure compliance with regulations.
We offer general safety awareness courses on topics like hazard recognition and protective equipment as well as specialized topics such as high voltage and rigging safety.

You can obtain an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification as a Visible Emissions Evaluator. This certification will allow you to observe emissions and report on the quality and safety of how those emissions impact our environment. These courses meet EPA requirements for Method 9 and have two components:

Welding skills are always in demand, either in specialized welding roles or as a skillset necessary in other jobs. We offer a series of welding courses that will take you from beginning skills and techniques in Fundamentals of Welding through additional courses that cover intermediate and advanced Shielded Metal Arc (Stick), Gas Metal Arc (MIG) and Gas Tungsten Arc (TIG) welding processes. If you have basic welding experience, you can take intermediate and/or advanced classes and work toward earning an American Welding Society (AWS) or other welding certification.
