Surgical Capstone (SRTC 250)

Allows students to transition into the role of the professional surgical technologist. Students discuss a variety of topics to include clinical performance review and feedback, resume writing and interview skills, clinical preceptorship, professional continuing education, current developments in the profession, and review of practice certification results. The course also includes a comprehensive review of the discipline areas to prepare the student for the certification exam. Course offered once a year (fall or spring).

Prerequisite(s): SRTC 210. Corequisite(s): SRTC 278.
